Susan V. Meyers is an award-winning author, tenured university professor, & international writing consultant.

With 20+ years of experience coaching authors and teaching at four top-ranked universities, Susan V. Meyers currently directs the writing program at Seattle University.


She holds an MFA from the University of Minnesota and a PhD from the University of Arizona and has been an invited speaker on three continents and a writer in residence at seven different arts centers around the U.S.


Her published work has been the recipient of several major awards, including the Nilsen Award for a First Novel and two Pushcart Prize nominations, as well grants from Artist Trust, the Squaw Valley Community of Writers, the Fulbright foundation, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
